Welcome to a modern world of secrecy, where humans aren't the only ones walking campus. Vampires, Werewolves, and Hunters live in the shadows of everyday life—bound by an ancient truce, but divided by old grudges.↟ ↟ ↟ ↟This isn't your average college experience. It's Crimson Pines—where the forest isn't the only thing that bleeds.

Supernatural Coexistence

Crimson Pines isn't just another sleepy university town. Beneath the surface, two ancient species—vampires and werewolves—live quietly alongside unsuspecting humans. To most, the supernatural is nothing more than myths and horror stories, carefully obscured by centuries of rumors, legends, and deliberate disinformation.Students brush shoulders with predators in coffee shops, dorms, and classrooms, never realizing how thin the veil truly is.

The Ancient Truce

Centuries ago, open war between vampires and werewolves nearly destroyed them both. To prevent extinction and exposure to humans, a truce was written in blood. The rules are simple:- No exposure- No territory disputes- No unnecessary human attentionNeutral towns like Crimson Pines were founded as rare safe havens, “buffer zones” where both species could coexist in fragile peace. But peace is only as strong as those willing to uphold it.

The Hunter Gene

Hunters aren’t born supernatural—they’re born human. But buried deep in the human genome lies a recessive, unstable trait: the hunter gene. Most will live and die without it ever stirring. Yet trauma, supernatural blood, or even prolonged exposure can awaken it, changing an ordinary person into something else entirely.Awakened hunters don’t see the world the same way. Instinct drives them to stalk, strike, destroy—sometimes without even knowing why. At first it feels like madness: heightened senses, violent impulses, and an overwhelming pull toward the things lurking in the shadows.

Secrecy Above All

Vampires, werewolves, hunters—no one walks around glowing, sprouting claws, or flashing fangs. They all look perfectly human, and most prefer it that way. The masquerade keeps the fragile truce intact.Even supernaturals can’t always tell what someone is without context, scent, or slip-up. That’s what makes Crimson Pines dangerous: your roommate, your professor, your crush—you never really know what you’re dealing with until it’s too late.

everything you need to know

vampires

Polished predators. Shadows in velvet. They are not the monsters humans tell stories about—they are the ones who wrote those stories, shaping myths to keep mortals blind. Vampires walk among humanity with poise and precision, feeding in silence and pulling strings from behind gilded doors. Their elegance is a mask, but make no mistake: beneath it lies hunger. Always hunger.

aging & appearance

Vampires don’t glitter in the sun or live forever—they age, just like humans. The difference? A well-fed, cautious vampire can stretch a mortal lifespan far beyond its natural limit. With discipline, centuries aren’t unheard of, though never without cost.🩸No flames, no sparkling, no missing reflections—all myths, planted deliberately to throw humans off the truth.🩸Fangs are real but retractable, hidden until needed. Extreme stress—or arousal—can make them ache to break through.🩸Eyes deepen into a crimson glow when emotions peak or blood is taken.

feeding

Blood is sustenance, but not in the grotesque, cinematic way most humans imagine. A vampire needs little to survive—often no more than a feeding once a week. The danger lies in indulgence.🩸Sources range from discreet blood bank siphons to black-market trade, glamoured volunteers, or carefully kept human “companions.”🩸When done carefully, feeding is painless, even euphoric. Only carelessness leaves bruises, punctures, and suspicion.🩸Starvation brings instability—both in body and mind. A hungry vampire is a dangerous vampire.

abilities

They aren’t shape-shifting bats or mist slipping through windows. Those stories are smoke and mirrors, old lies seeded for human consumption. The truth is subtler, but no less deadly.🩸Glamour: a soft psychic push, bending the will of the vulnerable or distracted.🩸Strength & Speed: beyond human limits, though rarely flaunted openly.🩸Senses: razor-sharp hearing and scent—predator gifts honed to perfection.🩸Limitations: no smoke, no flying, no beast forms—only the strength of the body and mind.

culture

Where wolves run in packs, vampires weave webs of power. They are creatures of polish and control, thriving in secrecy and influence. Theirs is a world of politics, privilege, and quiet dominance.🩸Elite clubs, university donors, legacy wealth, and city councils—these are their true hunting grounds.🩸Strict internal hierarchies rule them: elder councils, old bloodlines, and family houses. Prestige matters as much as power.🩸Wolves are tolerated, but often sneered at—seen as crude, impulsive, and beneath vampire refinement.

werewolves

Flesh, bone, and fury bound to the rhythm of the wild. Where vampires weave webs in velvet halls, werewolves thrive in sweat, muscle, and instinct. They are creatures of pulse and pack—grounded in loyalty, driven by emotion, and dangerous when cornered. To the outside world, they look perfectly human. But under the skin, a predator waits, listening to every heartbeat around it.

transformation

Becoming a wolf isn’t a magical fade-to-black—it’s bone and muscle tearing, reshaping, reforming. Even when mastered, the shift is painful, though most wolves grit through it with the same stubbornness they face everything else. Their first transformation is a rite of passage, burned into memory like a scar.🌕 Shifting is always voluntary, never forced by the moon.🌕 The full moon doesn’t trigger change but heightens everything—senses, emotions, instincts. Tempers flare, impulses sharpen, hearts race. During times of heightened emotions or arousal, werewolves eyes turn a deep golden amber.🌕 Most stay in human form unless pushed—protection, hunting, or when emotions overwhelm control.

abilities

Wolves wear their power differently from vampires: more raw, more physical, always close to the surface. Their bodies carry the instincts of the predator whether furred or not.🌕 Strength & Reflexes: far beyond human, always ready to strike or shield.🌕 Healing: bones knit fast, wounds close within hours, though silver slows the process.🌕 Senses: smell especially acute—tracking illness, emotional states, even supernatural “trails” that linger in the air.🌕 Pack Instincts: loyalty and protectiveness baked into their bones; they crave touch and closeness with those they trust.

culture

Where vampires thrive in velvet halls of politics, wolves ground themselves in muscle, sweat, and instinct. Their lives are shaped less by hierarchy and more by the bonds between them. Some packs are rigid, others fluid, but all share one thing: the pack matters most.🌕 Hierarchy varies—some wolves live loose and free, others enforce strict alphas and ranks.🌕 Wolves gravitate to physical fields: sports, security, law enforcement, construction, mechanics—anywhere strength and endurance shine.🌕 Vampires dismiss them as “wild” or “unstable,” but wolves counter that they’re the ones living honestly—connected to instinct, emotion, and the natural world.

hunters

They aren’t myths. They aren’t monsters. They’re people—neighbors, classmates, the stranger across the bar who smiles too easily. Hidden in plain sight, Hunters have walked beside the supernatural for centuries, shaping history from the shadows. Their strength is subtle, their weapons sharpened in secrecy, and their loyalty bound by a Code older than written record. To vampires and werewolves, they are ghosts until the moment steel meets flesh. To humans, they are nothing more than ordinary.

origin

Hunters aren’t chosen—they’re born. Their lineages carry traces of old magic, evolutionary quirks, or perhaps something darker no one wants to name. No two families tell the story the same way: some claim their ancestors were cursed, others blessed, others simply adapted to survive when the first vampires and wolves walked among humans.
Whatever the truth, their gifts tend to awaken when supernatural activity spikes—like a defense mechanism humanity didn’t know it had.
🧿 Descended from ancient human bloodlines altered by supernatural exposure.🧿 Origins debated: accident of evolution, deliberate creation, or some long-lost ritual.🧿 Abilities stir strongest in places thick with supernatural presence.

abilities

Hunters pass for human, and that’s what makes them so terrifying. No glow, no aura, no easy tell. They blend in until the moment they don’t. However, during times of heightened emotions, their eyes do turn an eerie pale, almost white.🧿 Resistant: natural defenses against glamour, intimidation, and other supernatural tricks.🧿 Enhanced Strength & Durability: subtle but enough to keep pace in a fight.🧿 Training: combat, weaponry, strategy, and lore drilled from childhood (in militant families) or learned through necessity.🧿 Invisible to Detection: wolves can’t scent them, vampires can’t glamour-read them. Unless a Hunter chooses to reveal, they’re just… human.

culture

Hunters are fractured—no grand council, no kingdom in the shadows. They operate in family lines, secretive cells, or lone wolves with their own moral compass. What binds them together is a Code—an ancient rulebook etched into every Hunter’s training, passed down more faithfully than any holy text. The Code:🧿 No Turning. (A Hunter who becomes supernatural is no longer Hunter—they’re prey.)🧿 No Revealing. (Keep the secret, keep the balance.)🧿 No Killing Without Cause. (Only kill when a line is crossed. Abuse of power is met with swift punishment.)🧿 Violators are not spared. Hunters police their own with ruthless efficiency. Some are embedded in universities, corporations, or government programs, monitoring supernatural populations. Others freelance, taking contracts or living quiet lives until duty calls.Philosophy varies: militant “eradicate-all” factions vs. pragmatic “let them live unless they break the rules” operatives.

everything you need to know

𖠰 CPU 𖠰

A prestigious private university tucked into the edge of the crimson forest, with Gothic-meets-modern architecture, a sprawling campus, and an open-secret supernatural undercurrent. It’s known for its high academic standards and mysteriously generous scholarships that tend to go to “certain families” — aka, wolves, vamps, and the occasional human with pull.

dorms

Lupine Hall – More rustic, earthy aesthetic, slightly farther from the main quad, closer to the treeline. Most werewolves prefer it for the open balconies, sturdier furniture, and proximity to the woods for quick shifts.Noctis Hall – Sleek, dark, upscale vibe. Closer to the old library and lecture halls. Attracts more vampire residents thanks to the heavy blackout curtains, thicker walls, and stylish common rooms.Verum Hall – Neutral territory dorm for all supernatural types and humans. Freshmen are often assigned here to “promote harmony” (translation: force them to deal with each other).Upperclass Housing – Small apartment-style units near the edge of campus, usually for seniors or grad students. Also popular with supernatural couples because no RAs.

campus hotspots

The Hollow – A dimly lit, wood-paneled coffee & tea house tucked in a converted carriage house on campus. Officially run by the university, but rumor says the baristas are all vampire familiars. It’s the neutral meeting point for student gossip, late-night study sessions, and supernatural politics in miniature. The Quad – Wide grassy lawn framed by crimson pines. Common area for all factions. Seasonal events like the Moonlight Festival (werewolf-heavy) and the Masquerade Gala (vampire-heavy) are held here. The Red Needle Café – Student-run coffee shop. Popular for morning pick-me-ups after late night parties. Good spot for factions to mix together. The Quarry – An old abandoned stone quarry on the edge of campus, now an unofficial party spot. The Velvet Grove – A student bar with live music, dim red lighting, and a slightly seedy rep. Local student “rockstars” play here often.

COURSES

Modern Mythology & Folklore Studies – An easy A for most humans, but a quiet necessity for vampires and werewolves to monitor supernatural “rumors” before they spread too far.

  • Publicly advertised as a “light” humanities elective, perfect for an easy GPA boost.

  • Unofficially monitored by supernatural students who fact-check lectures, correct “dangerous” myths, and sometimes slip in false details to keep humans guessing.

Environmental Science – A popular major for nature enthusiasts, but especially favored by werewolves with a deep instinctive connection to the land.

  • Covers ecology, conservation, forestry, and environmental policy, with frequent fieldwork in the surrounding Crimson Pines forest.

  • Wolves use it as both a legitimate career path and a way to discreetly monitor their territory for threats or changes.

Advanced Human Anatomy – Popular among pre-med humans… and certain vampires who have very specific reasons for memorizing circulatory maps.

  • Standard pre-med class with cadaver labs and detailed organ studies.

  • Vampires enroll for more than academics—they use it to master efficient, clean feeding and to learn how to avoid permanent damage.

Forensic Science – Humans see it as a path to law enforcement; for vampires, it’s a way to stay one step ahead of modern investigation methods.

  • Known human course track for aspiring detectives, crime scene investigators, and lab techs.

  • A favorite among vampires who want to stay ahead of modern forensic capabilities—especially those that could expose supernatural involvement in crimes.

CLUBS

The Scarlet Society – Exclusive, invite-only social club for the most elite vampires on campus. Werewolves aren’t exactly banned… but no wolf has ever been invited.

  • Elite, invitation-only social club for wealthy, well-connected students—almost entirely vampires.

  • Events are lavish, heavily curated, and always held indoors at night under the pretense of “tradition.”

  • Known to trade in influence: political internships, donor connections, luxury access.

  • Werewolves are not technically banned, but the “vetting process” is impossible to pass if you’re not a vampire.

The Summit Club – A small, idealistic group of students—both vamp and wolf—trying to advocate for peaceful coexistence. Some see them as naïve; others see them as dangerous.

  • A rare mixed-species group advocating for vamp–wolf cooperation.

  • Meets in rotating “safe spaces” across campus to avoid territorial disputes.

  • Seen by some as dangerous because it forces enemies into close proximity; others dismiss it as harmless optimism.

Silver Wolf Fitness – Officially a strength training and self-defense club; unofficially a place for werewolves to push their limits without drawing human suspicion

  • Operates out of the campus gym but has a hidden door to the basement space for full-contact sparring not meant for humans.

  • Wolves use it to hone reflexes, burn excess energy, and test dominance—while human members just think it’s “hardcore training.”

  • Occasional vampire participants turn workouts into subtle, tension-filled competitions.

faculty

Professors, patrons, predators — take your pick.

The university staff is a mix of human professionals, supernatural elders, and carefully placed insiders. Some faculty have been here for decades, quietly keeping order. Others are unaware pawns, teaching their classes without realizing half their students could tear them apart. Professors, advisors, and coaches alike enforce the unspoken rule: CPU must remain a sanctuary—never a battlefield.

the pines aren't the only things bleeding

Tucked away in the mountains, Crimson Pines is the kind of place that looks like it belongs on a postcard—quiet streets, cozy diners, and a forest that seems to breathe. It’s eerie in the way only small towns can be: too polite, too well-kept, too good at keeping secrets. Outsiders feel welcome enough to pass through, but never quite invited to stay. The forest wraps around the town like a living wall, its trees famous for the Pines Phenomenon: every autumn, the needles shift into a deep blood-red and carpet the ground in crimson. Scientists claim it’s just minerals in the soil, but the locals smile like they know better. They always have.

Redhaven | The Pines

Welcome to Redhaven Estates, known locally as the Pines. Nestled deep within the crimson-stained forest, this private neighborhood offers rustic lodges, sprawling cabins, and the kind of quiet that money can’t usually buy. For generations, it has been considered the safest, most “off-the-grid” place to live in Crimson Pines. But Redhaven is more than luxury—it’s a sanctuary. This is werewolf territory, the heart of their community. To the outside world, the land belongs to an old founding family, but locals whisper otherwise: the wolves rule here. They patrol their borders not with security cameras, but with instinct. No outsider wanders the Pines after dark. Those who try rarely do so twice. Here, packs live among kin. Family ties run deep. Loyalty runs deeper. And though visitors may glimpse Redhaven from afar, its soul belongs to the wolves—and always has.

Crimson Crest | Heights Above the Pines

High above the valley lies Crimson Crest, a neighborhood where old money whispers through marble halls and moonlight washes over manicured gardens. With sweeping views of the town and sprawling mansions older than the university itself, Crimson Crest has long been synonymous with power and heritage. But Crimson Crest is more than elegance—it’s legacy. These hills belong to vampires. Behind those iron gates live families who have walked through them for centuries, preserving their bloodlines and influence in quiet secrecy. Humans see an exclusive suburb, nothing more. What they don’t see is how every path, every hedge, every shadow is part of a fortress disguised as opulence. The Crest is not merely where vampires live—it is where they rule. Invitations here are rare, and acceptance rarer still. Few enter without purpose. Fewer leave unchanged.

V FAQ V

can i make a bot for this collab?

Yes! Join my server for more info and guidelines on how to join in on the fun. (must be 18+ to join, no cis men)

Are there other supernatural creatures?

This world only contains werewolves, vampires, hunters, and humans.

are there sports teams?

Yes! I'm working on them with a couple other creators. They'll be here soon!

are there male characters?

No, this is a sapphic universe. The LLM may create male characters in your roleplay, but we will not be making any male bots.

can vampires/werewolves turn humans or each other?

Humans can be turned under the right conditions! A vampire must drain a human, then feed them her blood. A werewolf scratch/bite under a full moon can turn a human. This is very dangerous and forbidden. A hybrid vampire/werewolf creature is possible...

is this omegaverse?

No! Though some creators may create social hierarchy for their wolves.
